Learn More About My Approach
My work is built on the understanding that trauma lives in both the mind and the body. What happens to us doesn’t just shape our thoughts. it’s stored in our nervous system, muscles, and energy centers. Healing requires more than talking about the past; it requires learning to feel safe enough in your body to exist in the present.
In session, we move between insight and embodiment. We explore your story, your emotions, and your body’s signals to help you reconnect to yourself. I draw from somatic therapy, trauma-informed CBT, inner-child work, and mindfulness-based regulation techniques. You’ll learn to notice how your body responds to emotion and develop ways to release what has been held too long through movement, breath, writing, and awareness.
Vulnerability is not weakness here; it’s data. It shows us where your system still braces for impact. I help clients build the safety and structure to tolerate that vulnerability so it can become strength.
My approach is structured but intuitive, direct but compassionate. Each session is focused on deepening self-understanding, restoring internal boundaries, and helping you create a relationship with yourself that feels anchored and alive.
Who I Work Best With
I work best with adults and teens who are ready to face themselves fully. My clients are often strong, responsible, and outwardly successful but quietly exhausted from years of carrying unresolved pain. They’ve survived childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or relationship abuse and they’re finally ready to stop surviving and start rebuilding.
My best work happens with people who:
- Are self-aware enough to know that something deeper needs healing
- Want to explore the connection between mind, body, and emotion
- Value direct feedback, structure, and accountability in the therapy process
- Are ready to take ownership of their healing instead of waiting for someone else to fix it
Our work is active, relational, and focused on transformation not endless venting. If you’re ready to dig in and change how you relate to yourself and others, we’ll work well together.
